Visitor questions
- How far in advance should I book a private chef in St. Maarten?
- Two to three weeks is comfortable, and peak season from December to April fills fastest. Last minute requests are worth sending anyway, since dates do open up.
- Do you cook in the villa or bring the food prepared?
- Chef Franky cooks on site in your villa or rental kitchen, serves each course, and leaves the kitchen the way he found it. Drop off catering is also available for larger functions.
- Who buys the groceries?
- Chef Franky sources everything himself, including local seafood and island produce, and the cost is built into your quote so there are no surprise receipts.
- Can you work with allergies and dietary needs?
- Yes. Vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten free, dairy free and allergy specific menus are all standard. Share the details when you enquire and the menu is designed around them.
- What does a villa dinner cost?
- Private chef dinners start at $95 per guest and tasting menus at $140 per guest, with event catering from $65 per guest. Final pricing depends on guest count, courses and sourcing.
- Which areas do you serve?
- The whole of Sint Maarten and Saint Martin, from Simpson Bay and Cupecoy to Orient Bay and Grand Case, plus surrounding islands on request.
